Belarus is invited to the elections in Myanmar as an observer

A delegation from Belarus will monitor the preparation and conduct of the final stage of the parliamentary elections in Myanmar. The delegation included representatives of the Belaya Rus public assosiation and the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus. Myanmar citizens will have to form a bicameral parliament, which includes 224 deputies of the Assembly of Nationalities and 440 deputies of the People's Assembly. Representatives to the legislative bodies of the administrative regions and states will also be elected. The final round of voting is scheduled for 25 January.
