Belarus is interested in deepening cooperation with Uzbekistan

This was stated by Chairman of the Permanent Commission of the Council of the Republic Sergei Aleinik at a meeting with Ambassador of Uzbekistan Rakhmatulla Nazarov. On 28-29 August, Vitebsk will host the III Belarus-Uzbekistan Women's Business Forum, organized by the Senate of Uzbekistan and the Council of the Republic of Belarus. According to Sergei Aleinik, a number of contracts and interregional agreements are being prepared for signing, which will complement the ambitious plans set by the Heads of State to increase trade and economic cooperation between the countries to $1 bln.
