Belarus interested in setting up joint companies and enterprises with Kyrgyzstan

A statement to this effect was made by Chairperson of the Council of the Republic N. Kochanova during her meeting with Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Belarus E. Ibraimov. The two countries have good friendly relations. The 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations is evidence of this. Trade turnover is also growing. Kyrgyzstan is interested in Belarusian buses, trolleybuses and agricultural machinery. There are also plans to set up production of Belarusian elevators in Kyrgyzstan. Food supplies are a promising area. Belarusian cheese, milk, butter and sausages are very popular in Kyrgyzstan.
