Belarus in international arena

Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei held meetings with his counterparts from Iran, Turkey, Nicaragua. The parties discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation in the political and economic spheres, interaction at multilateral platforms, and exchanged views on topical issues on the international agenda. Also, a meaningful meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland Pekka Haavisto took place, a number of issues of mutual interest were discussed. The head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry will also speak at the general political discussion of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly. Bilateral meetings are also planned with colleagues from Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia and with the UN top officials.
