Belarus and Thailand sign interparliamentary cooperation agreement

Belarus and Thailand have signed an agreement on interparliamentary cooperation. The document was signed during an official visit of Belarus" delegation headed by Chairman of the House of Representatives to Thailand. Vladimir Andreichenko held talks with the Chairman of the National Legislative Assembly of Thailand. Both speakers are in favour of regular meetings between parliamentarians both on a bilateral basis and within international organisations in order to develop cooperation between the countries.
According to the Chairman of the House of Representatives, Belarus considers Thailand to be a promising partner in Southeast Asia and is committed to developing relations, especially in trade, industry, agriculture, science, technology, education and culture.
