Belarus and Cuba agreed to increase cooperation in high technologies and agricultural complex. The topic was discussed by President of Belarus A.Lukashenko and special representatives of Fidel Castro. Havana intends to purchase big amounts of Belarusian trucks MAZ and tractors MTZ. The contracts amount to millions of dollars. Foundation of a joint production of components for automobiles in the Island of Freedom was also discussed. In its turn, Minsk is interested in developments by the Cuban scientists in growing of different plants in dry lands and poor soils.
