Belarus and Iraq mark 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations

Belarus and Iraq will continue developing cooperation despite the difficult situation in the Republic, as announced at a reception dedicated to the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Minsk and Baghdad are planning to take the cooperation to a potential level, especially in the trade and economic sphere. The parties have already signed agreements on the mutual protection of investments and youth policy cooperation, cooperation in the medical sphere currently being under consideration. Also, Iraq counts on Belarus' assistance in rebuilding the country in the post-war period.
