Belarus can obtain observer status

Belarus can obtain observer status at the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference. This topic was discussed in Brussels at the meeting of the Standing Committee of the organization. Our country is an integral part of the Baltic region. Closer cooperation with the parliaments of these countries will enhance the investment attractiveness and will help strengthen the image of Belarus on the international arena. A series of visits was scheduled during the meeting. The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly session is among the major events of the year. In July Minsk will welcome more than 700 delegates from 56 countries.
