Belarus and Turkey expanding cooperation

Minsk and Ankara are aiming at active development of trade and economic relations, said the head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry during the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation of the two countries. According to the diplomat, the delivery of goods to Turkey, as well as through Turkey to third countries and countries of the Global South is of primary interest to Belarus in the conditions of Western sanctions. Sergei Aleinik also noted that today Belarus is ready to offer Turkish partners opportunities for the implementation of profitable promising projects and provide preferences in free economic zones of Belarus. Special preferential regime is ready to be offered in the Great Stone industrial park.
