Belarus and Russia agree visa-free entry for foreign nationals for FIFA World Cup and 2nd European Games

Also today the prospects of Belarus-Russia relations were discussed at the Foreign Ministry. The meeting resulted in the signing of an agreement allowing foreign fans enter Russia through Belarus without a visa during the FIFA World Cup. One will need to have a fan's ID and tickets for the competitions. In 2019 the Russian side will, in turn, grant the right of visa-free entry and stay on its territory to foreign fans traveling to the Second European Games in Minsk.
