Belarus Ambassador presents credentials to King of Bahrain

Ambassador of Belarus to the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain Andrei Luchenok presented his credentials to the King of Bahrain. The ceremony took place in the city of Manama. The diplomat confirmed Belarus’ readiness to develop all-round mutually beneficial cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain. Diplomatic relations between the countries were established on July 1, 1996. Belarus and Bahrain have signed a number of agreements on trade and economic cooperation, on mutual protection of investments, on avoidance of double taxation, on air traffic. The countries are also successfully cooperating on the issue of supporting candidates for the elected UN bodies.
