Alexander Lukashenko takes part in planting Tree of peace and sustainable development in honor of 70th anniversary of UN

The Framework Programme on technical assistance to Belarus over the next five years was signed in the presence of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. The program addresses issues of ecology, economy, improving health and education. Today the Head of State took part in planting a Tree of peace and sustainable development. The solemn ceremony was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and the founding of the United Nations. On the initiative of our country the same tree was planted in May this year in the UN headquarters in New York.
