President Alexander Lukashenko held a meeting of the Security Council. It resulted in the approval of a new military doctrine ofBelarus. The previous document was adopted fifteen years ago. During that time, many approaches to military security have changed. The President states: a threat to global and regional security sill remains. An increasing number of hotspots and hybrid forms of warfare have appeared. The mechanisms to counter these and other issues are reflected in the new military doctrine.
