Alexander Lukashenko and Helen Clark discuss interaction of Belarus with UNDP

President Alexander Lukashenko and Deputy UN Secretary-General, UNDP Administrator Helen Clark discuss cooperation of Belarus with this authoritative organization. In our country, UNDP has been working in several areas: environment, social protection, fight against spread of AIDS and tuberculosis. UNDP has implemented several large-scale environmental programs for 10 million dollars. Alexander Lukashenko thanked Helen Clark for her contribution to overcoming the consequences of Chernobyl disaster. He also noted that our country has done much to eliminate the consequences of Chernobyl.
