A meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly was held in Moscow
A meeting of the Commission on International Affairs, Migration Policy and Relations with Compatriots of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia was held in Moscow. It was chaired by Sergei Rachkov. The main topic of the meeting was the implementation of the migration policy concept of the Union State. Parliamentarians assessed the carrying out of decisions already made and outlined next steps. They also discussed the international agenda for the first quarter of 2026 and focused on participation in major foreign policy events and promoting the interests of the Union State on global platforms. Particular attention was paid to the humanitarian sector. Migration and international cooperation remain among the priorities of the Union State agenda.
