А. Turchin arrived on a working visit to Tajikistan
Dushanbe will host the CIS Intergovernmental Council on 5 June. Bilateral meetings are taking place on the eve of the event. Prime Minister of Belarus held talks with his counterparts from Tajikistan and Kazakhstan. Minsk and Dushanbe are focusing on the development of industrial cooperation. There is an assembly of tractors and other agricultural machinery in Tajikistan. The site is being expanded to increase the range of manufactured machinery. Joint plans include launching new production facilities. Existing and new projects were discussed with Kazakhstan. Key cooperation is being developed. Some agreements have not been realized yet. For example, on the assembly of quarry machinery and rice harvesters. Belarus calls for updating the proposals in order to discuss their implementation in the future.
