Yearly exposition and fair opened in Minsk

All novelties of Belarusian production can be seen and tasted at the International exposition and fair "Prodexpo". It opened today in the capital city. One of the tasks for our producers is to substitute the import as much as possible. For instance, the substitution volumes of the state food concern Belgospischeprom made over 400 million dollars. Mostly, they are candies and tinned food, especially baby food. 65% of the produce stay in the internal market, while the rest is exported. Belarus fully covers its needs in sugar and salt, increases production of confectionery. The share of Belarusian goods in the Russian market also goes up. Belarus increases gradually not only export but manufacture, as well. In particular, the production of dairy foods augmented by 6%.
