Work to fill up buffer stocks nearing completion
21.11.2023
Belarusian farmers are to complete filling up buffer stocks with produce by December 1, so that fresh domestic vegetables would always be on the shelves of stores. The so-called "borscht set", which includes beets, cabbage, onions and potatoes, is traditionally prepared for winter storage. This year the volumes of some products have been increased in order to protect the market. The main consumers will be social facilities: hospitals, schools and kindergartens, as well as retail chains.
