Vitebsk and Ulyanovsk regions increase cooperation

The delegation from Pridvinye, which included representatives of the authorities and large industrial enterprises, visited the Russian region on a working trip. During the meeting with the Governor of the Ulyanovsk Oblast, they discussed options for cooperation in the field of industry. The focus is on metalworking, automotive and machine-tool construction. Today in Vitebsk region there are more than 50 enterprises that produce machinery for housing and communal services and agriculture, components for machine-tool equipment. All of them are ready to cooperate. The parties also discussed issues of cooperation in the light industry, pharmaceuticals, woodworking and production of construction materials. The regions plan to develop inter-municipal cooperation. The first steps in this direction have already been made. Ulyanovsk and Postavy districts signed an agreement on trade and economic, scientific and technical, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
