Vegetables at reasonable prices

The Council of Ministers considered the development of greenhouse-based vegetable cultivation. As Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko noted, the key objective of the development of greenhouse complex of the country is to provide the public with vegetables in the off-season period at affordable prices. In general, production of cucumbers and tomatoes in the country exceeds the domestic consumption for the year. The deficit is periodically observed only in the off-season period, from November to March.
