Union State MPs discuss cooperation in nuclear energy

Belarus and Russia will develop cooperation in nuclear energy. In Moscow, ministers, deputies, scientists and technologists of the two countries discussed the use of nuclear energy in the Union State. First of all, the discussion focused on the safety of nuclear power plant operation. This concerns scientific and technical support, personnel training, as well as the management of radioactive waste and nuclear fuel. A new Union program is currently being prepared on this topic. Parliamentarians got acquainted with the exposition of the Atom pavilion at VDNKh. This is the largest complex in Russia dedicated to the history of the nuclear era.
