Union integration

Belarus and Russia have agreed on 17 integration import-substituting projects in industry worth more than 80 billion Russian rubles. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Industry of Belarus Dmitry Kharitonchik in Ufa on the sidelines of the X Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia. An intergovernmental agreement on providing the government of Belarus with Russia’s state financial loan for a total up to 105 billion Russian rubles was signed in November 2022. The Ministry of Industry of Belarus and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia have done significant work in this direction. Lists of projects by types of products have been formed. Financing has been opened for one project, it is producer of agricultural machines Gomselmash. Financing for 4 more projects will open in June. In addition, it is planned to submit for approval passports for 4 more new import-substituting projects.
