Towards import substitution

A new shafts production line is operating at full capacity at the Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units. It is based at the mechanical assembly shop N3 and is equipped with highly efficient up-to-date equipment. Shafts of 18 types are manufactured and processed at the shop. 18 machine units put out the total production volume. They made it possible to replace more than 200 machine tools. Most of the products from the new line are shipped to the Minsk Tractor Works. Other enterprises in Bobruisk are also working on import substitution. Over 50% of the output is exported. Bobruisk-based enterprises sell their products in more than 50 countries. The growth of export figures amounted to more than 16%.
