The refinancing rate is reduced in Belarus
22.05.2023
According to the decision of the National Bank, from May 31, the refinancing rate will be set at 9.75% per annum. The easing of the monetary policy, first of all, is facilitated by the persistent trend of slowing annual inflation. In April, it amounted to 4.7% per annum, against 6% in March. The regulator notes both the recovery of business activity and the gradual increase in domestic consumption. The key rate will be reduced for the fifth time, at the start of the year it was 12%.
