The prospects of economic cooperation between Belarus and Iran were discussed in Minsk
The 17th session of the joint intergovernmental commission was held in the capital. The countries are mutually interested in each other. Minsk and Tehran have set a course for strengthening long-term partnership. Today's meeting of the intergovernmental commission is important not only for checking the clock. Future prospects are also being assessed. The countries are actively discussing not only the supply of goods, but also the organisation of assembly plants on the basis of the enterprises of the two countries. In addition, our Middle Eastern partner is a source of minerals, so there is interest in the supply of mining products. Belarus, for its part, is ready to increase the volume of supplies of agricultural, truck, bus and road-building machinery, chemical, food and woodworking products to Iran. A protocol is expected to be signed following the meeting of the intergovernmental commission.
