The Polesie development program will be updated and adjusted

Last week the President instructed to return to the Polesie development program while visiting Pinsk district. In due time these territories were reclaimed. Time has shown that it is possible to earn real money on drained lands. Nevertheless, the climate makes adjustments. Therefore, the approaches need to be adjusted. It is important to build work for the long term. The government will have to concentrate on key areas and invest funds on a point-by-point basis. The development of Polesie will in fact become a national project. The state program of socio-economic development and integrated use of natural resources of the Pripyat Polesie was implemented in Belarus in 2010-2015. The new one will also be designed for 5 years.
