The online retail market will grow in Belarus
The number of stationary retail facilities and online shops in Belarus is growing at about the same rate. This was stated by Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of Belarus (MART) A. Bogdanov. At the same time, the head of the agency noted that the online trading market would grow in our country. In world practice, this segment reaches 20-30%. Today, the share of online trade in Belarus is 8-9%. Everything depends on the demands of buyers. This applies to the balance of large shops, as well as retail facilities of walking distance. The head of MART also noted that the Belarusian market is interesting for Russian retail. Thus, several new retail chains appeared last year. At the same time, domestic ones, including regional ones, are also actively developing.
