The IX International Forum "Belarus Meat" started in Minsk
03.04.2025
Belarus fully meets the demand of the domestic market for finished processed meat products at the expense of its own production. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Vladimir Grakun at the opening of the IX International Forum ‘Belarus Meat’. According to him, over the past five years, Belarus has seen a steady growth trend in the production of finished meat products, which include sausages, ready-made and tinned meat products. According to the deputy minister, within the framework of the Doctrine of Food Security of Belarus until 2030, an optimistic level of food independence — over 85% — has been ensured for the main groups of meat products.
