20.08.2024

Less than 5% of fields with cereals and legumes remained to be harvested. Including rapeseed, farmers have threshed more than 7.5 mln tonnes of grain. The average crop yield in the country is 32.7 c/ha. The harvest of Minsk region is the most weighty among the regions — more than 2 mln tonnes. Some farms record yields of over 100 c/ha. Most of all, about 150 thousand tonnes of grain, were harvested by farms in Slutsk, Kletsk and Nesvizh. The district has already celebrated Dazhynki there. The next stage is straw harvesting, followed by preparation of fields for the next year. Sowing of winter rapeseed is in full swing in Minsk region.
