The first Belarusian electric cars are being tested
Belarus has developed new expertise in the development of electric transport. The first experimental electric cars are already undergoing technical tests and commercial evaluation. The next step is to put the cars into mass production. All electric cars have rolled off the assembly line in Borisov. A course for maximum localisation of components has been taken. About 10 Belarusian enterprises have joined the work on the supply of component base. According to the United Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the Academy of Sciences, the Belarusian electric car is assembled by 70% of domestic components. Scientists note that localisation guarantees a high level of service of the cars in the future. Owners of Belarusian electric cars will be able to get service support for at least 10 years.
