The first batch of Belarus-Russia aircraft "Osvei" is planned to be produced in 2026

The first samples of light-engine aircraft "Osvei" are to be produced in 2026-2027. This was stated in the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. The main issue is the future ratification of the intergovernmental agreement between Belarus and Russia on the development and organisation of serial production of "Osvei". The document is scheduled to be considered in the Oval Hall on 17 September at the opening of the session. The liners will be assembled at the 558 aircraft repair plant in Baranovichi.
