The course towards recovery

The economy of Belarus has been recovering since August-September due to agriculture, industry, informatics and communications. This was stated by the Minister of Economy Alexander Chervyakov. The day before, the government reviewed the development forecast for next year and the draft budget. The focus is on domestic demand, the implementation of investment projects for import substitution with Russia and external sales. The 2023 budget remains socially oriented. The cost of this will increase by more than 17.5%. The priority is healthcare and education, as well as the salaries of state employees.
