The beginning of the year demonstrates growth of the economy and household incomes

Industrial production in Belarus has grown by 2% since the beginning of the year. According to the Stat Committee, the volume of industrial production in January-February amounted to Br33.3 billion, or 102% in comparable prices compared to January-February 2024. Production in the mining industry increased by 0.9%, while in the manufacturing industry — by 2.6%. The production of agricultural products also increased — by 1.2% in the first two months of the year. In January, real cash income grew by 13.8%, retail turnover also increased.
