Tashkent hosted the First CIS Regions Forum

Not only a common history, but also a common vision of economic security. In the CIS, 85% of payments are made in national currencies. This was discussed in Tashkent at the First Forum of the Regions of the Commonwealth of Independent States. And the growth of this figure will strengthen the economic security of the association. Tariff confrontation in the global economy, along with risks, opens up opportunities for improving trade in the CIS. At the same time, the issue of protecting our markets and industries remains topical. For the development of the Commonwealth economy, stimulating measures are being discussed to attract investment, increase cargo traffic along transport corridors, remove barriers to trade, as well as export-import of services.
