Sugar plants to increase exports

While under the sanctions, Belarus is building effective work to ensure its own food security. The country's sugar plants have begun processing beets from the new crop. In general, about a third of the total volume of sugar produced is planned to be delivered abroad. But only after the demands of the domestic market are satisfied. The yield of the sweet root crop is projected at 5 million tons, which is 20% higher than last year. The plants will be processing beet until the end of the year.
