Strengthening of regional cooperation

A service and trading center of the Minsk Tractor Works was opened in Astrakhan (Russia). A delegation of the Belarusian government visited it. A warehouse of ready-made machines and spare parts is attached to the center. They plan to sell 200 to 300 tractors per year. A financial support program in purchasing the machines for the regional agricultural enterprises covers Belarusian and Russian equipment. The Astrakhan experts are confident about their big demand. The talks in Astrakhan resulted in signing contracts in all avenues – from the machines to combined feed and seeds – to the total of about $25 million.
