State for the people: income growth and support for the population
From year to year Belarus does not change its internal vector and builds a state for people. The socially oriented policy remains unchanged. The country has made a huge step forward over the last five years. Last year, the real disposable income of the population exceeded the forecasts and grew by 9.5%. This is the best indicator over the five-year period. At the same time, real wages grew even more: by 12%. Such results are also due to the fact that for the second year in a row in Belarus inflation remained below the established parameters: they planned not to exceed 6%, but ended up at 5.2%. The family capital programme has shown good results. Almost 50.000 accounts have been opened since 2021. Thanks to this support, the number of large families is constantly growing. Now there are already 123.000 of them. Belarus has ensured 100% coverage of citizens with state social protection measures.
