Stabilization funds’ stockpiling coming to end
10.11.2022
In order to form food reserves for winter, Belarus is completing the stockpiling of stabilization funds. For instance, the capital city alone needs about 8,000 tons of fruits and vegetables. Thus, the warehouses of the "Partizanskoye" enterprise are almost full. For the off-season, 3 thousand 800 tons of potatoes and about 900 tons of apples have been stockpiled. Large volumes of carrots and onions have also been harvested. Now beetroot and cabbage are being put into special storing chambers. Such crop storage facilities enable us to fully provide the domestic market with our own produce. It is planned to finish the stockpiling by November 15. Fresh fruits and vegetables will be stored there until late spring.
