Sowing campaign underway in Belarus

Agricultural enterprises are completing the sowing of early spring and leguminous crops. Corn is also being sown. 270 thousand hectares are allocated in the Minsk region for this crop. Potatoes are also being actively planted these days. "Kukhchitsy" farm in Kletsk district has earmarked more than 200 hectares for this particular root crop. Here they plan to get more than 500 centners per hectare. Belarusian-made machinery is actively used for planting. Generally, agro-technology is strictly observed for each crop.
