Sowing campaign starts in Belarus

Farmers in the country’s south were the first to launch field work. Now absolutely all the regions across the nation have joined in. The farmers plan to reach the optimal pace of sowing spring crops by the end of the week. As for the distribution of crops by areas, there are no significant changes compared to last year. At the same time the work on feeding winter cereals is underway. Wheat is the leader in acreage with 643 thousand hectares.
