Socio-economic development of the Minsk region

New export directions and wage growth, support for investment projects, and housing construction. The results of socio-economic development for 2023 were summed up in the Minsk region. The gross regional product increased by almost 10 points, which is 19% of the country’s GDP. The main driver was industry. At the same time, the industry’s dependence on flagships has decreased, which means the economy has become more stable. The Minsk region also accounted for a quarter of all agricultural products, as well as a quarter of Belarus' exports.
