Russian companies among most active users of BUTB import substitution platform
The recent four months of operation of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange import substitution platform show that companies from the Russian Federation are among the most active users of the exchange trading platform. They provided not only the largest volume of transactions among non-resident participants, but also came close to the figures exhibited by some regions of Belarus. The BUTB notes that the demand for the exchange platform among participants from Russia is associated not only with the urgency of the topic of import substitution, but also with the functional features of the Belarusian trading platform, allowing to enter into transactions with companies from Belarus, as well as with residents of other countries, using the exchange as a hedging tool.
