Results of the socio-economic development of the Belarusian capital
Decrease in the number of unprofitable enterprises, positive dynamics in exports and growth in foreign investment. The results of the socio-economic development of Minsk were discussed at the meeting of the Minsk City Executive Committee with the participation of the Chairman of the Council of the Republic, the authorized representative of the Head of State in the city of Minsk Natalya Kochanova. In particular, over 9 months of this year, more than 130 enterprises have achieved net profit. Also, more than 800 new enterprises have been created in the capital city. The average salary in Minsk is higher than in other regions of Belarus and amounts to more than 2.5 thousand rubles. The capital's export of services accounts for more than a half of the country's total exports. By the end of the year, it is planned to put into operation 760 thousand square meters of housing, of which 405 thousand have already been commissioned in 9 months. Construction is also underway in satellite towns. In Smolevichi, work is carried out this year on the construction of 3 residential buildings. A kindergarten has already been put into operation. In addition, construction of the third metro line continues in the capital. Next year they plan to put 3 stations into action, which are now at the final sage of construction.
