The transport and logistics possibilities of Astrakhan are open for transshipment of Belarusian cargo through the ports of the Russian region, Governor I. Babushkin said at a meeting with Ambassador of Belarus to Russia D. Krutoi. Astrakhan can annually ship up to 16 million tons of cargo by sea. Last year, only 3 million were transported. Of these, 100,000 tons were goods from Belarus. The opening of a direct flight and the construction of a trading house of Belarus in Novosibirsk were discussed at a meeting with the governor of this Siberian region, A. Travnikov. There is an interest in creating a single platform where a wide range of our products will be presented – from food to textiles and furniture. On the sidelines of the Forum, promising projects with the Republic of Mari El were considered – direct deliveries of our machine-building equipment and organization of tourist routes.
