Record volumes of sawn timber exports

Over the past three years, 68 thousand cubic meters of lumber have been sold. The most capacious and efficient markets are China, Russia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan. Cooperation with far-arc countries is being worked out. This year, the development of export potential remains a priority. As for the domestic market, it is fully provided with woodworking products. Today, Belarusians most often purchase chopped firewood. The Ministry of Forestry is actively developing its own branded trade network throughout the country. The plans include launching mass production of wooden houses. The first samples of log cabins will be shown in March.
