Promising areas of activity of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus

The export of scientific and technical products and developments in 2023 amounted to almost $56 million. As was noted during a regular session of the National Academy of Sciences, about 300 developments of Belarusian scientists in almost all areas are introduced into the country’s economy every year. Among the priority areas are microelectronics, development of our own software products, IT. Scientists are developing application software, including medical automated screening. Also, the most important areas of development of the Academy of Sciences are aerospace research, research in the field of biotechnology, research into the polar regions of the Earth, as well as the development of technologies in industry and agriculture. Work has also been established with foreign countries. The National Academy of Sciences collaborates with organizations and scientists from nearly 90 countries.
