Production of Chinese cars launched in Belarus
About 30 thousand Chinese crossovers per year are planned to be produced at the facilities near Minsk. The first cars have already rolled off the assembly line. The pilot lineup includes 2 models of large family cars. In the future, the producer also promises a four-wheel drive pickup, and plans to develop and launch an electric car. The project with Chinese partners was launched in less than a year, ambitious terms for such a scale. The car was specially adapted to the needs of Belarusian users and our climate. The launch of this project is another step in the development of Belarusian competencies in mechanical engineering. The car will be sold mainly in the domestic market. Some are planned to be sold in Russia. The countries of the Eurasian Economic Union are under consideration.
