Preparations for spring field work

Belarusian farmers are preparing for the spring sowing season. All farms of the Minsk region are already fully provided with seeds. They are also accumulating mineral fertilizers and completing technical repairs. The "Miropolye" farm in Borisov district has allotted more than 2 thousand hectares for spring sowing. About 60 tractors will be used during the sowing campaign. Feeding of winter crops is planned to be accomplished in just a week. The total area of arable land in the farm is 7 thousand hectares. The farm specializes in milk production, and a significant advantage will be provided by a new facility for 800 cows. Reinforced concrete structures are being put up at the site now.
