08.06.2023
Belarusian light industry enterprises plan to export $2 billion worth of products. Russia will remain the key importer. The goal is to increase presence not only in Moscow and the Northwest region of Russia, but also beyond the Urals. Knitwear, linen and leather goods have long become a recognized Belarusian brand. Bellegprom’s enterprises alone have opened more than 600 branded stores. Multi-brand outlets are being launched as well. In addition to large enterprises of light industry, there is a surge of initiatives by the country’s young designers. Special trading venues are being set up for them in Belarus.
