Potato harvesting is actively underway in Belarus

Belarusians are harvesting the second bread. In order to get the maximum, and most importantly, quality potato harvest, every fine weather day is used. As of today, 280.000 tonnes have already been harvested. The expected harvest this year is more than 900.000 tonnes. The pace of harvesting across the country is higher than last year. The average yield of 313 c/ha is also pleasing. The harvested crop will be enough not only to meet the needs of the domestic market, but also to sell to foreign consumers. It is planned to complete the work in the fields by 15 October.
